How I work

Three approaches. One conversation to start.

No packages with clever names. We talk, we work out what is really going on, and then I use whichever mix of coaching, NLP and hypnotherapy suits you.

Life coaching

Forward-looking and practical. We get clear on what you want, what is in the way, and what you will do next — then keep you honest about doing it.

Often suits: direction, decisions, confidence at work, big life changes.

NLP

Neuro-linguistic programming is about how your thoughts, language and habits of attention shape what you feel and do. We find the patterns that are not helping and change them.

Often suits: self-talk, self-doubt, overthinking, reactions you would rather not have.

Hypnotherapy

A calm, deeply relaxed and focused state. It makes it easier to work with habits and responses that run below conscious effort. You are aware and in control throughout.

Often suits: habits, stress, sleep and switching off, confidence.

The shape of it

Simple, and at your pace. You will always know what we are doing next and why.

First

A free conversation

Twenty minutes on the phone or a video call. You tell me what is going on. I tell you whether I think I can help, and what I would want to look at first.

Then

One-to-one sessions

Online or in person. Each one leaves you with something specific to use, not just a good feeling that fades by Thursday.

Between

Using it for real

The change happens in your actual week. Where it helps, I will give you a short recording or exercise to use between sessions.

Questions

The things people usually ask

What is the difference between coaching, NLP and hypnotherapy?

Coaching is about getting clear on what you want and taking action. NLP looks at the patterns in how you think and talk to yourself, and changes the ones that are not helping. Hypnotherapy uses a deeply relaxed, focused state to make change easier at a level below conscious effort. Most people get a mix of all three.

Will I lose control under hypnosis?

No. You stay aware of what is happening and can speak, move or stop at any point. Most people describe it as feeling very relaxed and focused, a bit like the moment just before you fall asleep. It is nothing like stage hypnosis.

What happens in a session?

We talk about what has happened since last time, pick what to work on, and work on it. Depending on what suits you that might be coaching conversation, NLP techniques, a hypnotherapy session, or a mix. You leave with something specific to use in the days after.

How long is a session?

Usually around an hour. The first call, before we agree anything, is about twenty minutes.

Online or in person?

Both. Online by video call works wherever you are, and that includes hypnotherapy. In person depends on where you are based, so mention it when you get in touch.

How many sessions will I need?

There is no fixed package. Something specific can sometimes be worked through in a handful of sessions. Longer-standing patterns usually take more. I will give you my honest view after our first conversation.

Is this therapy?

No. Coaching, NLP and hypnotherapy are not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment. If you are under the care of a doctor or mental health professional, tell me, and we will make sure anything we do fits alongside it.

How much does it cost?

It depends on what you need, so I do not publish a price list. The first conversation is free, and you will know exactly what anything costs before you agree to it.
